 My experience in EME2040 has been interesting, to say the least. Trying to learn all these new software programs and websites has been pretty difficult since I feel we have rarely used one source more than once. It has been fun getting to know some of my classmates a little bit better due to the website evaluation though, they have been helpful since getting assigned together. As a future teacher, I will improve my classroom by not using as many resources to make my students turn in their work, they will only use 2-3 websites. 

Open education resources are freely accessible and openly licensed instructional materials like text, media, and other digital materials that were useful for teaching, learning, and assessing- and for research purposes. OER provides benefits to people of all kinds, teachers, students, etc. and breaks down learning barriers that may have made certain things impossible before. This is not a hard thing to learn about or get into, and is extremely helpful in many different ways, giving people different opportunities to help their education. This makes high quality educational resources for students to use and re-use for free, this offers many different benefits to those who use it.

I acquired plenty of new skills during this past week's assignment. One skill that I acquired was learning how to record, and present a presentation through a video. I did not like how much detail you felt the need to ask for in order to get full credit for this assignment, I feel I work hard on all the assignments and never get the full credit cause it still isn't good enough. I like the opportunities given throughout this class to make us understand hoe to use more resources properly though.
